Shelter Afrique wanted to tell the story of newness with its identity for its annual conference which was going to be held in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
They approached us to help them communicate the theme of the event which would center around renewable energy, sustainability and growth.
When we embarked on the storytelling journey, we were able to create a fresh visual identity that echoed these sentiments as well as a visual language that would be translated on all collateral elements to ensure harmony and consistency of the message.
With a major emphasis on minimalism, we worked on creating an identity that relied on line-work and nothing else. We felt this would help in modelling visual guidelines that relied more on the logo than on supportive narratives in communicating the overall idea. As for the direction of the colour scheme, this was quite obvious from the start - with green being the most appropriate alternative to bring out an aura that spoke of change.
